TL;DR
Senior Trainer Maintenance Technician (Military Equipment): Developing and maintaining training products and preparing instructors to deliver operator and field-level maintainer new equipment training for RGCS systems with an accent on TRADOC Regulation 350-70, the ADDIE process, and technical maintenance instruction. Focus on coordinating fielding and NET events, managing instructor certifications and pitchbacks, and deploying to CONUS and OCONUS locations to support mission requirements.

Location: Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri, United States; onsite. Travel or deployment to CONUS and OCONUS locations may be required.

What you will do

  • Develop, update, and maintain Programs of Instruction, Instructor Lesson Plans, and Student Guides under TRADOC Regulation 350-70 and the ADDIE process.
  • Prepare and certify instructors to deliver Operator and Field-Level Maintainer new equipment training for supported RGCS systems.
  • Schedule and oversee instructor pitchbacks, maintain certification job books, monitor pre-NET rehearsals, and conduct refresher training.
  • Plan and coordinate fielding and New Equipment Training events, including New Materiel In-Briefs and logistics with gaining units.
  • Manage and evaluate the training team and program while ensuring compliance with Government guidance.
  • Conduct training, technical inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across supported RGCS systems.

Requirements

  • Active Secret-level security clearance required.
  • At least eight years of experience since 2000 in maintenance and training of fielded military equipment.
  • At least two years as a certified military equipment instructor, with an approved instructor course such as FIFC, ABIC, or ITC.
  • Extensive military training and technical-support experience, including development and implementation of training programs.
  • Working knowledge of TRADOC Regulation 350-70 and the ADDIE instructional-design process.
  • Ability to teach technical inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of complex systems and mentor other instructors.
