Training and Operations Support Specialist (Instructor)

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. Up to 20% travel, standard 40-hour workweek, and crew/shift requirements apply.

Salary: $125,000–$150,000 per year, depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and internal parity.

What you will do

• Design, deliver, and refine training programs for Joint Commercial Operations Cell operations, software tools, and operational methodologies.
• Conduct interactive classroom training using adult learning principles and accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Operate JCO operational and prototype tools, command-and-control systems, simulation tools, and virtual training environments.
• Train and certify for JCO crew operations and perform designated monthly operational shifts.
• Develop instructional content, course materials, and training exercises aligned with military protocols and command requirements.
• Assess training effectiveness, support audits and inspections, maintain training records, and drive continuous process improvement.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to meet security requirements.
• At least 5 years of experience with GEOINT and ELINT analysis principles, tradecraft, systems, and software.
• Experience designing and delivering technical or software-related training programs.
• Ability to teach in a classroom, communicate complex concepts clearly, and facilitate interactive learning.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canvas Learning Management System.
• Problem-solving skills, a proactive approach, and the ability to work collaboratively or independently; basic IT support and software troubleshooting knowledge.

Nice to have

• Multilingual proficiency in English and another language, such as Spanish, French, German, Polish, Ukrainian, Portuguese, Arabic, Korean, or Japanese.
• Experience with TacSRT, JCO, All Source Intelligence, OSINT, or Operational Planning Products.
• Instructional design and process improvement expertise with measurable training improvements.
• Military training experience or familiarity with military operations, Space Domain Awareness, or Electromagnetic Operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in GSIS, Foreign Policy, or Education; relevant additional experience may substitute for the degree.
