Program Manager – Infrastructure & Operations Portfolio

Location: Remote in the USA; onsite options are available in Daytona Beach, FL or Plano, TX.

Salary: $140,000 annual

What you will do

• Own and govern the Infrastructure & Operations project portfolio, aligning initiatives with enterprise strategy, technology roadmaps, priorities, and resource capacity.
• Lead large-scale programs involving cloud adoption, data center modernization, network transformation, endpoint management, disaster recovery, operational resilience, and IT service management.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and develop Project Managers while promoting consistent PMO methodologies, governance, reporting, and delivery practices.
• Manage project scope, milestones, budgets, resources, RAID logs, communication plans, executive reporting, risks, dependencies, and delivery outcomes.
• Coordinate technology, business, finance, security, compliance, operations, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve escalations and support decision-making.
• Ensure operational readiness and transition through documentation, training, knowledge transfer, support models, monitoring, service management processes, and recovery procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, business, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in IT program or portfolio management, including Infrastructure & Operations initiatives.
• Experience managing concurrent projects, programs, or portfolios with cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers and delivery teams.
• Working knowledge of cloud services, networking, compute, storage, endpoint management, IT service management, and operational support models.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder management, organizational, budgeting, resource planning, and prioritization skills.

Nice to have

• Experience leading enterprise infrastructure transformation or modernization programs.
• PMP, PgMP, PfMP, PMI-ACP, ITIL, or similar certification or experience.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, hybrid cloud environments, PPM tools, and enterprise governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting organizations undergoing significant technology or operational transformation.
