Program Director (Federal Digital Services)

Location: Remote within the United States; the remote workforce is described as nationwide.

Salary: $150,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for a complex federal digital services program spanning multiple projects and workstreams.
• Manage program scope, schedule, budget, staffing, risks, dependencies, quality, and contractual deliverables.
• Build trusted relationships with senior government stakeholders, sponsors, contracting officials, and technical representatives.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams across software engineering, product, design, project management, and delivery functions.
• Manage financial performance, staffing plans, resource allocation, utilization, forecasts, and program reporting.
• Lead program reviews, risk resolution, contract transitions, recompete activities, and continuous delivery improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 5 years of experience leading complex technology programs, digital services, software delivery, or related technical initiatives.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams across concurrent projects or workstreams.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, risks, financial performance, and contractual deliverables.
• Experience working directly with senior government customers and stakeholders.
• Must currently hold, or have recently held, a Level 5 Public Trust background and be able to complete additional federal suitability, fitness, and financial background requirements.
