Workers' Compensation Claim Manager (Washington Workers' Compensation)

Salary: $31.25–$40.86 per hour

What you will do

• Manage a book of state fund workers’ compensation claims for consulting customers, with a focus on containing claim costs.
• Review employer, L&I, and medical materials and obtain additional information from customers and underwriters.
• Investigate, respond to, and mitigate claims in collaboration with employers.
• Identify light-duty opportunities and implement return-to-work strategies.
• Communicate with medical providers about medical outlook, timelines, restrictions, and treatment appropriateness.
• Advise customers on workers’ compensation best practices and coordinate financial analytics and service plans with the Brown & Brown team.

Requirements

• Experience managing Washington workers’ compensation claims is required.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.
• Bachelor’s degree is not required when supported by appropriate experience.
• Basic understanding of the insurance industry is advantageous but not required.
