Workers' Compensation Claim Manager

Salary: $31.25–$40.86 per hour

What you will do

• Manage a book of Washington state fund workers’ compensation claims for consulting customers.
• Review employer, Labor & Industries, and medical materials and prepare required documentation.
• Investigate claims, develop action plans, contain claim costs, and implement recommended strategies.
• Identify light-duty opportunities and support return-to-work plans with employers.
• Communicate with medical providers to assess outlook, timelines, restrictions, and treatment appropriateness.
• Coordinate with customers, underwriters, L&I employees, and internal teams on claim service and financial analytics.

Requirements

• Required experience managing Washington workers’ compensation claims.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
• Basic understanding of the insurance industry is helpful.
• A bachelor’s degree is a plus but is not required with appropriate experience.
