Claim Professional Development Program (CPDP) Internship

Salary: $25.00–$26.00 per hour

What you will do

• Complete structured onboarding for claims systems and protocols.
• Gain exposure to personal and business insurance claims ranging from basic to moderate complexity.
• Investigate claims, assess what happened, estimate damage, determine applicable coverage, and support resolution.
• Develop negotiation, customer service, verbal communication, written communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Observe experienced Claim Professionals through desk work and ride-alongs.
• Complete core assignments and challenging project work with a designated manager or mentor.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States now and in the future.
• Bachelor’s degree obtained or in progress.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Interest in entering the insurance industry and pursuing claims as a future career.

Nice to have

• Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
• Studies in Business Administration, Liberal Arts with a business focus, Business Management, Risk Management and Insurance, or a related business discipline.
