Senior General Liability Claims Analyst (Retail)

Location: Hybrid position in Seattle, Washington

Salary: $80,000–$132,000 annual

hirify.global operates a retail and service business with an in-house Legal department supporting claims and risk-related matters.

What you will do

• Manage and adjust general liability claims involving customer injuries, property damage, and product liability.
• Handle customer service, claim investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and administration.
• Support attorney-represented pre-litigation claims and related legal matters.
• Assist with investigations, regulatory matters, subpoenas, discovery, and invoicing.
• Manage a high-volume caseload while meeting deadlines and maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience as a general liability claims analyst or examiner.
• At least 5 years of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of tort, contract and indemnity, insurance, medical, and legal terminology.
• Strong oral and written communication, analytical, organizational, and investigative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and claims, risk-management, or legal document-management systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information, work independently and collaboratively, exercise sound judgment, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
