New Product Introduction (NPI) Manufacturing Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Beverly, Massachusetts, United States — on-site. Travel is minimal, less than 5% if any.

Salary: $79,447.21–$119,170.81 base annual salary, plus eligibility for a team incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits.

What you will do

• Partner with Design Engineering to integrate DFM, DFA, and DFX objectives into new product designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturing expertise from concept through production release.
• Review drawings, bills of materials, routings, and engineering documentation for manufacturing readiness.
• Support prototypes and First Article builds, and develop work instructions, process flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
• Design tooling, fixtures, and assembly aids while collaborating with Test Development on test requirements.
• Evaluate manufacturing costs, improve assembly efficiency, and support engineering changes and configuration control.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, NPI, Process Engineering, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Experience supporting products from design through manufacturing release.
• Working knowledge of DFM, DFA, PFMEA, Control Plans, and manufacturing process development.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and bills of materials and collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work on-site in Beverly, Massachusetts, United States.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with semiconductor equipment, capital equipment, or complex electromechanical assembly.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
