What you will do
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, electrical, and controls hardware issues during assembly, integration, and final test.
- Support early production builds to stabilize manufacturing workflows as the program scales.
- Lead root-cause investigations using structured problem-solving methods such as Fishbone diagrams, 5 Why, and 8D.
- Develop and maintain assembly instructions, work instructions, and training materials to improve build consistency.
- Execute engineering changes, deviations, and rework directives in coordination with planning and the shop floor.
- Partner with Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to drive continuous improvement in manufacturability and product quality.
Requirements
- Bachelorβs degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, sustaining engineering, or hardware support roles.
- Must be located in or able to work onsite in Beverly, MA.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electromechanical hardware in a production environment.
- Proficiency in reading engineering drawings, electrical schematics, 3D models, BOMs, and GD&T.
Nice to have
- Experience with semiconductor equipment production lines.
- Working knowledge of Solidworks.
- Familiarity with SAP ERP systems for managing engineering changes and production data.
- Experience troubleshooting valves, gas delivery systems, or cryogenic equipment.
