Senior Program Manager, AI Enablement (AI)

Location: Chicago, New York, or San Francisco, USA. The in-office policy requires four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near a hirify.global office.

Base salary: $138,000–$190,000 per year, depending on location, skills, qualifications, and experience. Full-time employees may also receive a bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Own cross-functional AI enablement programs from design through operating cadence, stakeholder activation, and outcome measurement.
• Investigate workflow problems and build AI-enabled solutions with Product, Engineering, BizOps, and People teams.
• Define roadmaps, milestones, success metrics, health models, and transparent status reporting.
• Drive adoption through training, communications, activation, playbooks, and other self-serve enablement resources.
• Measure AI fluency, adoption, behavior change, and productivity against company goals.
• Build documentation and governance into programs so they can operate without continuous central support.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in program or project management, preferably in a fast-paced technology environment.
• Experience turning ambiguous problems into programs with narratives, roadmaps, milestones, and operating cadences.
• Hands-on experience building or automating workflows with AI tools, including the ability to explain what was built, what failed, and the resulting change.
• Experience driving behavior change and managing large, distributed programs without direct authority over participants.
• Experience defining program health models, success metrics, milestones, and measurement before launch.
• Familiarity with productivity and workflow tools such as Jira, Asana, or Notion.

Nice to have

• Experience with ambassador, champion, or Center of Excellence programs.
• Background in enablement, learning and development, change management, product operations, business operations, or technical program management.
• Experience in internal AI or enterprise AI adoption.
• Hands-on experience with ChatGPT, Glean, Claude, Cursor, or Gemini.
• Working knowledge of AI governance or Responsible AI principles.
