Program Manager, Technical Enablement (AI)

Location: San Francisco, New York, or Seattle, United States

Base salary: $128,000–$150,000 USD annually, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Build and launch a structured, role-based onboarding program for customer-facing engineers, taking new hires from environment setup to meaningful technical contribution within 30 days.
• Define role-specific ramp criteria and communicate expectations to engineers and managers.
• Audit, consolidate, and govern the authoritative technical knowledge base, including ownership, review cadences, expiration dates, and document hierarchies.
• Develop recurring technical development programs through live sessions, asynchronous updates, release summaries, and targeted readiness content.
• Partner with engineering leadership, Enablement, Product, Engineering, Sales, and Delivery to adapt content and systematize technical knowledge.
• Manage concurrent programs, track milestones, and report program health and outcomes to leadership.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in enablement, program management, technical training, or a related field.
• 2+ years of program management experience, including launching programs from zero in a fast-moving environment.
• Experience supporting technical teams, engineers, or solutions engineers at a B2B technology company.
• Experience building or substantially improving documentation and knowledge management systems.
• Ability to navigate technical content, identify outdated information, and work with engineers to update it; coding experience is not required.
• Excellent written communication skills and proficiency with AI tools for content creation, summarization, and workflow automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with developer tools, AI/ML platforms, or technical products used by engineers.
• Experience building LMS-based learning paths or technical onboarding curricula.
• Familiarity with tiered instructional design or adult learning principles.
• Experience collaborating with Product, Engineering, or Delivery teams to systematize institutional knowledge.
• Experience building programs from scratch in a high-growth, venture-backed environment.
