Director, Community Banking

Location: Onsite in Columbus, Nebraska, at the Main Bank

Compensation: $107,552–$182,838 base pay

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of approximately 50 business relationships with average loan and deposit portfolios of $50M each.
• Acquire new business, grow existing relationships, and service current customers according to portfolio expectations.
• Provide advice and match entrepreneurial businesses with commercial deposits, payment products, treasury services, business planning, and credit solutions.
• Build referral networks with attorneys, accountants, and other centers of influence.
• Coordinate product specialists and support teams, negotiate customer terms, and manage opportunity documentation and timelines.
• Maintain portfolio quality and comply with credit risk, BSA/AML, regulatory, and internal control requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of successful commercial lending relationship management experience.
• Experience building and growing diverse business-product portfolios for entrepreneurial companies.
• Strong customer relationship, people, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
• Proficient credit analysis knowledge and skills.
• Unrestricted work authorization in the United States is required; future sponsorship is not available.
