Material Handler Operations Lead

What you will do

• Direct daily workflow while working alongside material-handling associates and supporting the department Supervisor.
• Execute and oversee order fulfillment activities, including picking, packing, manifesting, staging, and material flow.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered industrial vehicles, including forklifts, order pickers, dock stockers, electric pallet jacks, and Bendi forklifts.
• Complete equipment checks, inventory checks, shipping-supply checks, and required documentation.
• Identify and resolve small to medium operational issues and escalate obstacles to the appropriate supervisor or lead.
• Provide day-to-day associate oversight, coaching, training, and support for compliance with SOPs and productivity standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED.
• At least 2 years of experience in a fast-paced distribution warehouse or stockroom environment.
• Strong verbal communication, reading, addition, and subtraction skills for order-specific documentation.
• Ability to follow instructions and formal SOPs, including requirements for temperature-controlled areas, cGDP, and cGMP.
• Ability to work a minimum of 40 hours across 5 days per week, including overtime as needed, at the Memphis facility.
• Ability to stand or walk for at least 80% of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• At least 3 years of distribution warehouse experience, including 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
• Experience in a pharmaceutical or medical warehouse.
• At least 1 year of forklift operation experience or equivalent certification.
• Experience coaching and training associates on SOP compliance and productivity goals.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills.
