Analyst, Process Improvement, Gas (Natural Gas)

Location: Berlin, Connecticut, United States; primarily office-based with field visits and travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire. Emergency storm assignments may require work outside normal responsibilities, hours, and location.

Annual salary: $84,970–$94,410, commensurate with experience, plus potential incentive.

What you will do

• Support gas process improvement programs, reviews, metrics, and Process Hazard Analysis activities.
• Perform, lead, and coordinate incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Develop analysis, automation, AI solutions, and internal applications using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Monitor hazard identification, near-miss, lessons-learned, and incident reporting programs.
• Provide Process Safety Management support and develop and deliver training for Gas Operations.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts, field personnel, project teams, and internal and external committees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Process Safety, Engineering, Business Management or Administration, Accounting/Finance, or a related discipline; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least three years of utility or related industry experience.
• Ability to perform detailed analysis, interpret data, communicate clearly, and coordinate cross-functional work.
• Understanding of federal and Connecticut and Massachusetts compliance requirements.
• Valid motor vehicle license required.

• Experience in process improvement project management, AI and analytics, natural gas engineering, compliance, or risk management.
