Sr Staff Program Manager, Information Security (Cybersecurity)

Location: On-site in Longmont, Colorado, United States. No travel required.

Salary: $132,974–$193,816 estimated annual base salary.

What you will do

• Manage Information Security projects and programs from planning through closure, including scope, milestones, dependencies, risks, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish portfolio governance practices, integrated roadmaps, intake processes, delivery plans, and governance calendars.
• Coordinate portfolio reviews, operating reviews, governance forums, and cross-functional initiatives involving Information Security, IT, business functions, vendors, and managed service providers.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs, KRIs, RAID logs, project health indicators, decision logs, and executive-level reporting.
• Identify delivery risks, resource constraints, dependencies, and trade-offs, escalating issues when leadership decisions are required.
• Improve governance, reporting cadence, operating rhythm, and automation while maintaining accountability across teams without direct authority.

Requirements

• 5+ years of program management, project management, PMO, or portfolio management experience in cybersecurity, Information Security, or a related technical security environment.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects through initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and closure.
• Experience with project governance, dependency and risk tracking, cross-functional execution, KPIs, KRIs, dashboards, and executive reporting.
• Working knowledge of Information Security domains and the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, including governance, risk, compliance, identity and access management, security operations, vulnerability management, cloud security, endpoint security, data protection, or application security.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including translating technical and project information into concise leadership-level messages.
• Experience working with globally distributed teams and stakeholders across multiple functions and time zones.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting security risk, governance, architecture, engineering, security operations, compliance, operational technology, or third-party security programs.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project or program management certification.
• Familiarity with security controls, risk-management concepts, and governance or compliance requirements.
