Sr Staff Engineer Program Manager (Optical)

Location: Santa Clara, California, United States; onsite in the office 5 days a week

What you will do

• Lead end-to-end program execution for a portfolio of optical solutions from concept through production ramp.
• Translate design specifications into products aligned with technical and business objectives.
• Coordinate photonics, analog design, packaging, planning and supply management, DVT, qualification, and finance teams.
• Manage concurrent workstreams, milestones, schedules, resources, dependencies, and operational priorities.
• Drive testing, reliability qualification, customer sampling, production acceptance, and ramp activities.
• Identify and mitigate risks while communicating program status, delays, gaps, and decisions to engineering, operations, customers, and executives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Significant industry experience: preferably 10+ years, or 8+ years with a Master’s degree or 6+ years with a PhD.
• 5+ years of project or program management experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Experience managing multiple concurrent silicon subsystem and final product development efforts.
• Strong leadership, organization, communication, risk analysis, strategic decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project or similar software, plus PowerPoint, Excel, and JIRA.
