Sr Staff Program Manager (Onsite)

Location: In-person at the Acton, Massachusetts office, United States. Domestic and international travel may be required and is estimated at less than 10%.

Annual base salary: $161,800–$242,650, with possible incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Lead complex research and development programs from initiation and feasibility through product release.
• Build, maintain, and execute integrated project plans, Gantt charts, and rolling roadmaps across cross-functional workstreams.
• Manage program risks, issues, dependencies, blockers, and change decisions with clear mitigation plans.
• Lead core team and steering committee meetings, maintaining clear decisions, owners, actions, and status reporting.
• Guide teams on design control, quality management system, regulatory, and corporate requirements.
• Partner with technical and executive stakeholders on problem solving, scenario analysis, priorities, budgets, and timelines.

Requirements

• Medical device program management experience.
• Expertise leading large-scale, enterprise-wide, multi-year product innovation programs from initiation through release.
• Strong knowledge of medical device development, including R&D, clinical affairs, global regulatory requirements, and QMS compliance.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as mechanical or electrical engineering.
• At least 10 years of experience in a technical discipline, including 5 years in program management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project scheduling and planning software, and strong communication, influence-management, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Agile or SAFe development experience.
• Working knowledge of JIRA and Polarion.
