Quality Analyst 2 or 3 (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: Onsite in Glen Allen, Virginia, United States

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year, based on experience.

What you will do

• Analyze and document business and system requirements.
• Create, maintain, and execute test plans across software projects.
• Identify, track, and troubleshoot defects; perform root-cause analysis.
• Identify test cases for automation and maintain existing automation scripts.
• Develop, review, and enhance automation frameworks using Playwright, Selenium, Java, and TypeScript at the senior level.
• Partner with business and IT teams, support multi-project initiatives, and mentor less experienced analysts.

Requirements

• Quality Analyst 2: 3+ years of related QA, testing, or business systems experience; Quality Analyst 3: 5+ years of related QA or business systems experience.
• Independent ownership of software testing, test plans, requirements analysis, defect management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Quality Analyst 3 candidates need enterprise experience across large-scale systems and multiple platforms.
• Proficiency in Java and TypeScript; proficiency in HTML and XML.
• Quality Analyst 3 candidates need experience developing or enhancing automation frameworks with Playwright and/or Selenium.
• Familiarity with React and/or Next.js, plus a bachelor’s degree or equivalent progressive experience.
