What you will do

• Build and maintain automated end-to-end and regression tests with Playwright and run them reliably in CI/CD.
• Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile applications.
• Partner with product and engineering to define test plans, acceptance criteria, and quality gates for new features.
• Triage, reproduce, and document defects while tracking escaped defects, coverage, and test flake rates.
• Improve testing tools and quality processes as the product and team scale.

Requirements

• 3+ years of software QA experience with hands-on automation using Playwright or an equivalent tool.
• Experience writing and owning test plans from product requirements through release.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Must be based in the United States and able to maintain solid West Coast (PT) working-hours overlap.
• Strong written communication for reproducible bug reports and test documentation.
• Ability to work pragmatically and independently in a fast-moving startup environment.

Nice to have

• Experience testing HIPAA-compliant systems or handling PHI data requirements.
• API testing experience or familiarity with EHR integrations such as HL7 and FHIR.
• Experience in healthcare SaaS, remote patient monitoring, or clinical data platforms.
