Senior Quality Assurance Software Engineer (Playwright)

Annual salary: $103,000–$150,000, depending on geographic location, experience, and skillset.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright or comparable platforms such as Cypress and Selenium.
• Expand automated and manual test coverage across UI, API, integration, and cross-browser scenarios.
• Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing.
• Document, track, and triage defects while collaborating with developers on resolution.
• Maintain reliable, reusable test environments, test data, and reporting.
• Define acceptance criteria, quality metrics, QA best practices, and reusable test components with product and engineering teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of directly applicable experience designing test automation frameworks.
• Strong understanding of web application testing, including cross-browser validation.
• Experience with Playwright or other test automation platforms.
• Strong analytical, critical-thinking, problem-solving, communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and perform extended or weekend hours when required.
• Ability to travel when required and proficiency with Microsoft Office, iManage, and other firm applications after orientation.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• Experience with performance testing, API testing, scalability considerations, and agile development practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in agile teams.
