Senior Quality Automation Engineer (Selenium)

Location: 100% remote from anywhere in the United States. Job site: Irvine, California. Must have the legal right to work in the U.S.

Salary: $107,200–$150,100 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain reliable, maintainable test automation solutions with separated test code and data, runtime recovery, synchronization, and meaningful test results.
• Analyze test plans, test cases, test data, scenarios, and related documentation to identify automation opportunities.
• Apply consistent testing methodologies, recommend improvements to QA processes and standards, and research new approaches.
• Maintain test-result documentation, provide quality metrics, and support software debugging and modification.
• Coordinate sprint test-plan execution across the QA team and pre-qualify production releases through smoke and automation testing.
• Collaborate with QA and development teams and mentor less experienced team members when applicable.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field, or foreign equivalent.
• Two years of experience in the offered role or a closely related occupation.
• Expertise in advanced test automation framework development using Selenium.
• Proficiency in Java and JavaScript, including automated API testing with JavaScript and Postman.
• Experience integrating CI/CD and DevOps tooling with Jenkins and GitHub, plus distributed version control with Git.
• Experience with JMeter, Sauce Labs mobile testing for iOS and Android, TestRail, and Jira.
