TL;DR
Senior Engineer (AWS/AI): Designing and delivering scalable, cloud-native distributed systems with an accent on AWS architecture, generative AI, LLMs, and security-first engineering. Focus on building AI agent solutions, making independent architectural decisions, and guiding engineers through design reviews, code reviews, and mentorship.
Location: Brazil; remote home-office position.

What you will do
- Own the end-to-end architecture of distributed, cloud-native systems, from AWS CDK infrastructure as code through production operations.
- Create Architecture Decision Records and translate ambiguous business requirements into scoped, shippable technical plans.
- Design and evolve scalable solutions with attention to cost, performance, reliability, and security.
- Collaborate with product and engineering stakeholders to drive technical alignment.
- Raise engineering standards through code reviews, design critiques, and mentorship.
Requirements
- English proficiency at C1 level or higher.
- Strong professional software development experience outside internships.
- Extensive JavaScript and TypeScript programming experience.
- Experience leading the design or architecture of reliable and scalable new and existing systems.
- Experience developing cloud-native applications and platforms with Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, AWS Bedrock, SQS, SNS, and ECS.
- Experience with generative AI, technical leadership, mentoring, and delivering complex software solutions to production.
Nice to have
- Experience across the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Terraform or AWS CDK experience.
- Experience with Claude Code, Cursor, LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar AI tooling and orchestration frameworks.
