Senior Forward Deployed Engineer (AI/AWS): Building and deploying production-grade AI agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM-native applications for enterprise clients with an accent on end-to-end account ownership and technical architecture. Focus on translating ambiguous business requirements into scalable software and managing the full delivery lifecycle from discovery to close.

Location: Remote (Must be based in Mexico). This role may require up to 50% travel depending on business needs.

What you will do

• Own the full client relationship on your account from initial discovery through project close.
• Architect and build production-grade AI systems, including agents and data products, tailored to client constraints.
• Translate ambiguous business problems into scoped, deliverable technical work and manage stakeholder interviews.
• Identify and mitigate scope creep while surfacing opportunities for account expansion.
• Develop and transfer maintainable software and automations that remain functional after engagement.
• Contribute reusable patterns, templates, and components back to the internal AI practice.

Requirements

• 5+ years of engineering or technical delivery experience, with significant time in client-facing contexts.
• Proven track record of owning solo account delivery from kickoff to close without supervision.
• Hands-on depth in LLM application development, cloud-native architecture (AWS preferred), or backend systems at scale.
• Ability to make independent technical decisions and manage delivery quality within client environments.
• Strong communication skills, capable of interacting precisely with engineers and confidently with VP-level leadership.
• Must be based in Mexico; no visa sponsorship is provided now or in the future.

Nice to have

• Experience building production AI systems (RAG pipelines, agents, fine-tuned models).
• Hands-on experience with Claude, AWS Bedrock, prompt architecture, and tool use.
• Background in management consulting, systems integration, or professional services.
• AWS certifications: Solutions Architect Professional or DevOps Engineer Professional.
• Familiarity with automation tools like Zapier, Power Automate, Airtable, or enterprise systems like Salesforce and Workday.
