Senior Software Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote, candidates must be currently based in Portugal or Brazil

Initial 6-month contract.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable software systems and engineering platforms.
• Develop production-grade solutions with Go and TypeScript.
• Build internal tools, platforms, services, and infrastructure used by other engineers.
• Contribute to AI-native and agentic systems and the infrastructure supporting AI workloads.
• Work with Azure and/or AWS cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and technical stakeholders on architecture, reliability, performance, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go and TypeScript.
• Experience solving complex engineering and architectural problems.
• Platform engineering experience building tools, systems, or infrastructure for other engineers.
• Hands-on experience with AI-native, AI, or agentic systems, or platforms supporting AI workloads.
• Fluent English and current residence in Portugal or Brazil are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with both Azure and AWS.
• Experience designing AI/LLM platforms or agentic architectures.
• Experience with developer platforms, internal tooling, APIs, distributed systems, or cloud infrastructure.
• Experience in fast-paced, technically complex environments.
