TL;DR
Inventory Control Analyst (Aerospace) (ERP/WMS): Supporting inventory control across warehouse and manufacturing locations for electric aircraft production with an accent on inventory accuracy, component delivery, and FAA/SOX compliance. Focus on analyzing inventory discrepancies, improving ERP/WMS processes, maintaining documentation, and supporting audits and warehouse operations.

Location: South Burlington, Vermont, United States; onsite role

Salary: $30–$35 USD per hour

What you will do

  • Analyze daily workloads, operational metrics, and weekly KPI data to support resource planning and reporting.
  • Maintain inventory integrity through location triage, cycle counting, inventory movements, warehouse organization, and component picking.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis and implement systemic process improvements.
  • Maximize Plex ERP and Cella WMS capabilities, troubleshoot system issues, maintain systems, and resolve Jira tickets.
  • Support FAA Type and Production Certification activities, SOX key controls, audits, and inventory documentation.
  • Support onboarding and cross-training by creating and maintaining training materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or a related field, or at least 2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain analytics.
  • Experience with ERP and/or WMS systems.
  • Experience training and mentoring colleagues on system navigation and inventory management procedures.
  • Strong analytical, critical-thinking, verbal, and written communication skills, with high attention to detail in data-heavy environments.
  • Ability to work independently, collaborate as part of a team, handle setbacks, and find solutions.
  • Ability to perform material handling and warehouse tasks as assigned.

Nice to have

  • Manufacturing experience, especially in aerospace, automotive, or a startup.
  • Working knowledge of FAA and/or SOX compliance requirements.
  • Root cause analysis and process improvement experience, including Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Advanced Excel experience.
