Inventory Control Specialist (Aerospace Defense)

Location: Onsite at the Cincinnati, Ohio facility in Blue Ash, Ohio; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance are required.

What you will do

• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily transactions, cycle counts, variance reconciliation, and discrepancy resolution.
• Receive inbound materials, validate packing lists, complete system receiving and put-away, and stage materials for production work centers.
• Prepare small parcel, LTL, and freight shipments with accurate documentation and final visual checks.
• Track parts throughout the facility and prioritize material movement according to production schedules.
• Maintain organized warehouse areas, labels, racks, and material locations.
• Operate pallet jacks and forklifts safely after certification and support continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and material flow.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, stockroom management, logistics, or manufacturing.
• Experience with cycle counts, inventory transactions, and reconciliation activities.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, ownership, follow-through, and ability to manage changing priorities.
• Ability to use ERP or inventory management systems, Microsoft Excel, and Word.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience using ERP or inventory management systems.
• Experience operating pallet jacks and forklifts.
• Existing forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
