Staff Program Manager (Military OEM)

Location: Onsite in Torrance, California, United States

Salary: $160,000–$227,000 annually

What you will do

• Lead and coordinate a strategic military aerospace development program for a key customer.
• Develop and execute the program through qualification and NPI maturity across functions and sites.
• Manage program plans, budgets, schedules, cost performance, and task completion.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, scope, schedule, and budget objectives.
• Resolve issues with customers, management, and cross-functional teams, including developing recovery plans when needed.
• Support process improvements, standard work implementation, proposal teams, and business capture campaigns.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree and at least 10 years of professional experience, preferably in engineering or program management.
• Typically six or more years of program management experience, including work on a development program.
• Experience managing program budgets, plans, schedules, contractual requirements, and scope adherence.
• Strong leadership, communication, organization, facilitation, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with defense programs is strongly desired.
• Ability to access U.S. export-controlled information and obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
