TL;DR
Development Program Manager (Aerospace): Leading programs and integrated product teams supporting the Talon-A launch system with an accent on cost, schedule, customer satisfaction, and aerospace integration. Focus on developing budgets and schedules, managing subcontractors and risks, and coordinating requirements, milestones, proposals, and flight-manifest planning.

Location: Onsite in Mojave, California, United States; semi-frequent travel to domestic locations is required.

Salary: $120,500–$158,000 annually for the Senior Program Manager level; $157,000–$206,000 annually for the Staff Program Manager level. Base salary and leveling are determined case by case.

hirify.global develops reusable air-launched Talon testbeds and operationally realistic hypersonic flight testing platforms for advancing aerospace and national-security technologies.

What you will do

  • Lead an integrated product team through the full program life cycle.
  • Develop and manage program budgets, schedules, milestones, review gates, and execution tools.
  • Own cost, schedule, customer satisfaction, risk mitigation, and decisions affecting program constraints.
  • Coordinate requirements and planning with engineering, manufacturing, operations, contracts, procurement, and program-management teams.
  • Manage subcontractor performance, proposals, forecasts, and delivery of products within budget and on schedule.
  • Communicate program status, technical challenges, risks, and recommendations to senior program leadership and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Experience in one or more of aerospace program management, subcontracts and procurement, personnel management, aircraft systems, aircraft operations, launch-vehicle integration, or ground systems.
  • Experience leading technical aerospace programs and working with subcontractors, including prototype manufacturing or low-rate production.
  • Experience with risk management, analytical problem-solving, facilitation, and communicating technical topics to varied audiences.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize changing requirements, and operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in business management, business administration, engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; 5–10 years of relevant experience for the Senior level or 10+ years for the Staff level.

Nice to have

  • Experience with government agencies, air-launch programs, launch-vehicle or aircraft integration, and large transport or military aircraft operations.
  • Experience with classified programs and classified work environments.
  • Project Management Professional certification.
