Senior Program Manager-Defense Solutions- Onsite Position

Location: Onsite in Santa Clarita, California, United States. Relocation may be available for select candidates. Must be a US citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.

Salary: $138,700–$192,000 per year, plus bonus.

Designs and manufactures rugged processing solutions for defense and aerospace applications, combining the support of a large corporation with a small-company environment.

What you will do

• Manage program performance in accordance with contract requirements and company policies.
• Own program schedules, cost management, baselines, metrics, and status reporting.
• Lead proposal analysis, source selections, negotiation teams, and subcontractor performance monitoring.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and support teams in a matrixed organization.
• Serve as the primary company contact for internal and external military and commercial customers.
• Develop contingency plans, manage program risks, and maintain records of project agreements and commitments.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• US citizenship and eligibility to obtain and maintain a DOD security clearance.
• At least 10 years of related experience in the defense and aerospace industry.
• Experience with defense and aerospace customers, including serving as a principal contact for military and commercial accounts.
• Experience with customer communications, negotiations, proposal management, strategic planning, and technology roadmap updates.
• Familiarity with complex integrated-system architecture, hardware development, and system integration and testing.
