Head of Talent Acquisition (AI)

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, with 3+ days per week in the San Francisco office from Tuesday through Thursday.

Base salary: $180,000–$220,000 per year, depending on experience and level, plus meaningful equity.

What you will do

• Lead, develop, and grow a team of recruiters, sourcers, and recruiting coordinators.
• Build sourcing strategy, employer branding, candidate experience, and repeatable hiring playbooks.
• Own the recruiting stack, including Ashby ATS, sourcing tools, and AI-native recruiting technologies.
• Design structured interviews, scorecards, calibration processes, and trusted recruiting dashboards.
• Partner with People leadership and business leaders on headcount planning, hiring capacity, sequencing, and budget.
• Lead senior, executive, highly specialized, international, and emerging-role searches.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience building talent programs and leading recruiting teams in high-growth companies.
• Experience building talent acquisition functions and scalable recruiting processes from the ground up.
• Fluency with AI tools and the ability to apply AI expertise to sourcing, evaluation, and talent attraction.
• Hands-on ownership of an ATS and sourcing tools, including experience evaluating new recruiting technologies.
• Experience leading executive or highly specialized searches and hiring across multiple countries.
• Ability to define emerging AI roles, competencies, job descriptions, and leveling frameworks.
