What you will do

• Review purchase requisitions and manage supply continuity to support on-time, in-full delivery.
• Create, update, and follow up on purchase orders for materials and services.
• Communicate with suppliers about delivery schedules, order status, and changes, resolving late deliveries, overshipments, invoicing discrepancies, and material non-conformances.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Planning, Engineering, Quality Assurance, and Accounts Payable teams.
• Perform cost analysis and volume planning, and support supplier capacity planning and performance reviews.
• Help implement inventory controls and purchasing best practices while providing informal mentorship to team members.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
• At least 1 year of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience.
• Strong organizational, negotiation, communication, customer-service, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines with minimal supervision.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, including data review and fact-based problem solving.
• Strong project-management skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Experience with a medical device manufacturer.
• Project-management experience.
