Jr Buyer (Medical Devices)

What you will do

• Coordinate new supplier setup and collect required onboarding documentation.
• Maintain purchasing master data and administer the purchasing system.
• Review requisitions, clarify specifications, recommend alternatives, and convert requisitions into purchase orders.
• Negotiate with suppliers and follow up on delivery commitments for indirect materials and services.
• Track shipments, expedite delayed orders, and resolve delivery issues with suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance metrics, inventory movements, and procurement trends.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Buyer or Buyer/Planner, preferably in a medical device environment.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; Microsoft AX experience is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and service-oriented skills.
• Collaborative approach, positive attitude, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• APICS certification.
