Bridge Engineering Designer

Location: Wesley Chapel, Florida, or Jacksonville, Florida; onsite work between office and field environments

What you will do

• Support due diligence, investigations, remediation, improvements, and construction infrastructure projects.
• Assist with research, concept development, planning, and design of bridges, signs, walls, and transportation facilities.
• Perform bridge inspections, assessments, and rehabilitation design.
• Review shop drawings and provide field technical support during bridge construction.
• Prepare quantities, reports, and construction cost estimates.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to work between office and field environments in the listed Florida locations, including exposure to weather, noise, hazards, and bodies of water as project requirements dictate.
• Ability to occasionally operate a company vehicle and lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 pounds.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks.
