EIT Diver - Bridge Inspection

What you will do

• Prepare for and participate in local, regional, and US-wide dive teams for structural assessment contracts.
• Inspect bridges and other structures underwater and from the surface in accordance with national bridge inspection standards.
• Perform emergency inspections after bridge collisions and floods.
• Prepare inspection reports, support quality control, and maintain bridge records and files.
• Perform load ratings of existing bridges.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate dive assignments while maintaining dive equipment, vehicles, and boats.

Requirements

• ADCI Commercial Diving certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; Civil or Structural Engineering preferred.
• At least 4 years of experience.
• Proficient technical writing skills.
• Physical ability to perform bridge inspections in the field.
• Valid driver’s license required; CAD skills are preferred.
