Drainage Engineering Designer

Location: Houston, Texas; onsite

What you will do

• Lead detailed drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects.
• Develop stormwater management and conveyance systems.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate drainage design across multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Support project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and drainage-related deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• At least 2 years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.
• Regular full-time onsite work in Houston, Texas.
• Successful completion of applicable pre-employment substance screening and background checks.
