Project Engineer (Civil)

What you will do

• Support the Civil Group Leader with civil design and project management.
• Plan and design land development, civil-site, and municipal projects, including site layouts, grading, access, and entrance circulation.
• Develop stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and landscape assessment plans.
• Prepare construction plans, agency and municipal review records, and land development and environmental permitting applications.
• Coordinate with municipal officials, engineers, developers, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Build client relationships and lead engineers and designers.

Requirements

• BS degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Seven or more years of experience in land development civil-site engineering.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Familiarity with HydroCAD or other stormwater modeling software and ArcGIS.
• Demonstrated ability to lead a team of engineers and designers.

Nice to have

• Professional Engineer license in Tennessee.
• Project management experience.
