Senior Construction Project Engineering Manager

Location: Onsite in Jacksonville, Gainesville, Ocala, or Orange Park, Florida

What you will do

• Provide technical support and leadership for Northern Florida construction engineering inspection teams from pre-construction through final project acceptance.
• Lead CEI teams delivering Department of Transportation and municipal projects involving roadway, bridge, drainage, earthwork, milling and resurfacing, intersection improvements, and utility relocations.
• Serve as project executive across multiple projects and maintain project processes in accordance with contract requirements.
• Review and approve monthly CPM schedules while monitoring budgets, schedules, contract documents, and quality requirements.
• Communicate with owner representatives, contractors, regional leadership, and corporate functions to resolve complex construction and contract challenges.
• Manage administrative staff responsible for project documentation and final estimate submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Ability to obtain required certifications and pass applicable qualification tests within the specified time frames.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; the role requires outdoor field work and the ability to perform physical activities, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
