Technical Consultant (Governance & Controls)

Location: Toronto, ON; hybrid arrangement with 1–2 days per week on-site at Toronto-81 Bay

What you will do

• Support the Application Reliability Engineering – Governance & Controls function in a managed services environment.
• Monitor risks, deviations, control issues, process gaps, and operational variances, escalating actions when required.
• Prepare, coordinate, and deliver governance and control reporting on compliance, performance, and operational trends.
• Coordinate the end-to-end Moves, Adds, Changes and Deletions (MACD) request management process.
• Review MACD requests for completeness, accuracy, quality, and technical validity, resolving discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Assess supplier scope and pricing, coordinate MACD activities, and verify execution against contractual and operational requirements.

Requirements

• Experience supporting governance and control activities, including risk items, deviations, control oversight, and governance reporting.
• Experience in operational or managed services environments and accurate request management.
• Strong stakeholder service, collaboration, problem-solving, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Knowledge and experience with enterprise ticketing systems, preferably ServiceNow.
• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and hold a valid work or study permit where applicable.
• Skills in data entry, information technology, Microsoft Excel, troubleshooting, and vendor management.

Nice to have

• Experience working with or supporting services delivered under a vendor-managed services contract.
