Corporate Development Manager (Financial Services)

Location: Toronto office with a hybrid mix of remote and in-office work; current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 105,000–129,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide business and strategy consulting services to senior stakeholders and support strategic objectives.
• Assess, develop, and execute business strategies and innovation initiatives across hirify.global.
• Support the sourcing, qualification, due diligence, and execution of corporate development activities, including mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and partnerships.
• Research competitors, markets, trends, disruptions, and innovations to develop actionable business insights.
• Design and deliver presentations, report progress, and guide discussions with working groups, steering committees, and executive leaders.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, finance, or strategy and planning.
• Core strategy consulting, problem-solving, business strategy, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong project management, financial acumen, and ability to influence without authority.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• University degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience and knowledge of asset and wealth management, investing products, client segments, competition, and regulation.
• MBA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or other relevant business education or designation.
