TL;DR

Manager Corporate Development (Case Lead): Provide business and strategy consulting and lead corporate development/M&A efforts for hirify.global with an accent on sourcing, diligence, execution, and stakeholder-facing strategic analyses. Focus on competitor and market research, steering-committee presentations, and managing corporate development professionals to deliver project objectives under tight deadlines.

Location: Toronto Office (hybrid; remote + in-office)

Salary: $158,000 to $188,000 base salary + discretionary performance bonus (annual)

What you will do

  • Deliver business consulting and strategy support to senior stakeholders to advance hirify.global’s strategic objectives.
  • Contribute to and lead strategy exercises for businesses across hirify.global.
  • Support corporate development actions in Canada, including mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and partnerships.
  • Conduct competitor and market research to assess how trends and disruptions impact the industry, clients, and business propositions.
  • Design and lead stakeholder presentations and discussions with working teams, steering committees, and executives.
  • Manage internal corporate development teams and empower team members to design and deliver against project objectives.

Requirements

  • Substantial experience in core strategy consulting and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience applying business strategy and innovation frameworks to advise businesses implementing new strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence to engage with and challenge senior managers.
  • Very strong project management skills and ability to influence without authority.
  • Advanced Microsoft skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Current work authorization for Canada is required for all openings.
