Manager Corporate Development (Case Lead)

Location: Toronto office with a hybrid mix of remote and in-office work. Current work authorization for Canada is required.

Salary: CAD 158,000–188,000 annual base salary, plus a discretionary performance bonus.

What you will do

• Provide business consulting and strategic advice to senior stakeholders across hirify.global.
• Contribute to and lead strategy assessments, development, and execution initiatives.
• Support sourcing, qualification, diligence, and execution of mergers, acquisitions, divestments, joint ventures, and partnerships in Canada.
• Research competitors, market trends, disruptions, innovations, and industry challenges to develop strategic insights.
• Prepare presentations, report progress, and guide working groups, steering committees, and executive discussions.
• Manage project teams while developing and empowering corporate development professionals.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, including 3+ years in strategy consulting, corporate development, or strategy and planning.
• University degree in Commerce, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Strong strategy consulting, problem-solving, business strategy, and innovation framework experience.
• Strong stakeholder management, project management, influencing, financial acumen, and leadership skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Current authorization to work in Canada is required.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience and knowledge of asset and wealth management, investing products, client segments, competition, and regulatory environments.
• MBA, CPA, CA, CMA, CGA, or other formal business education or designation.
