Lead Business Consultant, Alternative Investments and Private Credit

Location: Toronto, Canada; hybrid with attendance at the SimCorp office twice per week and travel to client sites

Salary: $115,040–$165,040 CAD annually, plus an annual discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead business consulting projects and manage client relationships, timelines, scope, risks, and service quality.
• Assess client business needs, identify improvement opportunities, and design customized solutions.
• Manage the consulting lifecycle from initial assessment through implementation and alignment with client objectives.
• Lead and mentor junior consultants while coordinating project teams and professional development.
• Analyze business performance data, identify optimization opportunities, and provide strategic recommendations.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, and proposals and support business development within existing accounts.

Requirements

• Experience as an implementation consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge in at least two areas: asset management, back office, or financial reporting.
• Understanding of financial industry products and related accounting.
• Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or applied sciences is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with the ability to manage tasks and deliver results on time.
• Ability to attend the SimCorp office twice per week and travel to client sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with trade processing, including confirmation and trade settlement processes and solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension.
