Lead Business Consultant, Alternative Investments and Private Credit

Location: Toronto; hybrid work with attendance at the SimCorp office twice per week and travel to client sites

Salary: CAD 115,040–165,040 per year, plus an annual discretionary bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead business consulting projects and manage client relationships, scope, timelines, risks, and quality.
• Assess client needs, identify improvement opportunities, and design customized solutions through implementation.
• Manage project teams and mentor junior consultants.
• Monitor deliverables, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement using industry best practices and client feedback.
• Prepare client presentations, reports, proposals, and actionable strategic recommendations.
• Support business development and analyze business performance data to identify optimization opportunities.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an implementation consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge in at least two areas: asset management, back office, or financial reporting.
• Understanding of financial products, financial services, and related accounting.
• Degree in business, accounting, finance, economics, mathematics, or applied sciences is preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
• Ability to attend the SimCorp office twice per week and travel to client sites.

Nice to have

• Experience with trade processing, confirmation, or trade settlement processes and solutions.
• Hands-on experience with SimCorp Dimension.
