Location: Tucson, Arizona, United States; field-based role requiring residence within the assigned territory and daily work in hospitals, doctors’ offices, and other medical establishments.
At-plan compensation: $175,000 annually, including a $100,000 base salary and commission under the company’s sales compensation plan.
Company
develops medical devices, software, and related services for diagnosing and treating serious cardiopulmonary and respiratory conditions, including wearable defibrillators, cardiac monitoring systems, and oxygen therapy.
What you will do
- Sell the LifeVest wearable cardiac defibrillator, cardiac diagnostic services, and the Patient Management system to healthcare professionals.
- Conduct sales calls and support product utilization through medical education programs, trade shows, clinical symposiums, and conferences.
- Educate physicians, nurses, case managers, administrators, and other healthcare professionals on appropriate patient indications, ordering, and billing requirements.
- Provide clinical, reporting, and technical information supporting the use of cardiac products.
- Manage account databases, business plans, field expenses, reports, credentialing, and access to assigned customer accounts.
- Achieve territory sales objectives, analyze market trends, and maintain collaborative relationships with business partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
- 3–5 years of medical equipment or specialized hospital-based pharmaceutical sales experience, or 5 years of successful sales experience including at least 1 year in healthcare sales.
- Must live within the assigned territory.
- Valid state driver’s license and ability to drive an automobile; occasional train or air travel may be required.
- Documented sales success, ability to obtain access privileges at assigned accounts, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in hospitals and medical offices and occasionally work evenings or weekends as business needs require.
Nice to have
- Cardiology experience.
- Prior experience as an Associate Territory Manager or in a sales support role.
