Senior Project Engineer - CEI

Location: Onsite in Tampa, Wesley Chapel, Venice, or Miami, Florida

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership and support for construction teams from pre-construction through final acceptance.
• Guide regional Construction Engineering Inspection teams delivering Department of Transportation and municipal projects.
• Serve as project executive across multiple projects and maintain project processes according to contract requirements.
• Review and approve monthly CPM schedules while monitoring budgets, schedules, quality, and contract compliance.
• Coordinate with owner representatives, contractors, regional leadership, and corporate functions to resolve complex construction and contract challenges.
• Oversee administrative staff preparing documentation for final estimate submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• At least 10 years of construction inspection experience.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and environmental conditions and perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35 lbs.
