Senior HVAC Field Technician (HVAC)

Location: Lubbock, Texas, United States; field-based work conducted on-site at customer locations.

Salary: $19.97–$59.91 per hour.

What you will do

• Perform end-to-end testing, programming downloads, startup, commissioning, and servicing for assigned HVAC projects.
• Diagnose, examine, and repair equipment and systems at customer locations while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with team leaders, project managers, and customers to plan installations, repairs, materials, and on-site work.
• Use software, handheld technology, hand tools, blueprints, and engineering specifications to troubleshoot and repair units.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain accurate records of company assets, equipment use, wear, and condition.
• Mentor team members and support overtime and occasional overnight assignments as business needs require.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or a certificate from an accredited technical school.
• Typically, at least 10 years of HVAC experience; technical school or formal training is preferred.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and handheld computers such as smartphones or iPads.
• Valid driver’s license held for at least 12 months, with no major or frequent recent traffic violations or preventable collisions.
• Ability to work on-site at customer locations and accommodate overtime and occasional overnight stays.

Nice to have

• EPA certification, such as HVAC Journeyman, Boiler Operator, or Gas Installer certification.
