What you will do

• Develop master plans, design drawings, technical specifications, and cost estimates for solid-waste site development.
• Design stormwater management and erosion control systems.
• Prepare reports and studies required to secure project permitting.
• Provide oversight and guidance for projects from initial concept through construction.
• Perform and review detailed calculations for leachate generation, pipe sizing, slope stability, and compaction density.
• Manage project budgets and schedules while providing bidding and construction administration services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil and/or Environmental Engineering.
• 5-8 years of experience, including at least 4 years in solid waste, land development, or closely related projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil3D.
• Effective communication skills using oral, graphic, and written forms.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) preferred or E.I.T. on track to become PE.
