Facilities Maintenance Associate

hirify.global is a startup developing Seagliders, wing-in-ground-effect vehicles designed for fast, affordable, and sustainable regional transportation between coastal cities.

What you will do

• Perform day-to-day facility maintenance and repairs, including basic carpentry, drywall, painting, mechanical repairs, furniture assembly, and installations.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies, and other assets between three nearby facilities using a company vehicle.
• Set up and break down rooms for meetings and events, including furniture, basic AV equipment, and catering arrangements.
• Conduct facility walkthroughs, identify maintenance and safety issues, and address problems before they escalate.
• Investigate facility and equipment issues, complete repairs within scope, and coordinate specialized work with contractors and vendors.
• Track facilities requests, maintain inventories and 5S standards, support emergency equipment and drills, and assist with new-hire desk and badge setup.

Requirements

• Professional hands-on maintenance experience with common hand and power tools.
• Experience with carpentry, drywall, painting, furniture assembly, basic mechanical repairs, or similar work.
• Strong troubleshooting, organization, follow-through, and communication skills.
• Safety-first approach, including adherence to OSHA and hirify.global safety requirements.
• Comfort using common workplace software and learning facilities ticketing systems.
• Valid driver's license and ability to perform lifting, carrying, moving, reaching, and other physical duties required for on-site facilities work.
