Maintenance Operations Supervisor (Aerospace)

What you will do

• Supervise, coach, develop, onboard, and train maintenance technicians and facilities personnel.
• Assign and prioritize daily maintenance work, lead planning meetings, and provide performance feedback.
• Plan and oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs for manufacturing equipment, facility systems, utilities, and production infrastructure using CMMS.
• Lead troubleshooting, repairs, root cause analysis, corrective actions, equipment installations, moves, upgrades, commissioning, and production startups.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, OEM support, service contracts, quotes, purchasing, spare parts, and critical inventory.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, local codes, LOTO, internal policies, safety requirements, quality standards, and production support goals.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; formal mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance training preferred.
• 5–8 years of experience in facility maintenance, industrial maintenance, or manufacturing support, including supervision of maintenance technicians or skilled trade personnel.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, coordinating vendors and contractors, and supporting manufacturing operations.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control systems using electrical schematics, ladder logic, PLC diagnostics, and machine alarms.
• Knowledge of industrial automation and experience partnering with production, manufacturing engineering, and OEM service providers.
• Ability to analyze equipment performance metrics and implement improvements that increase machine availability and OEE.

Nice to have

• Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, or maintenance reliability certification.
• Strong understanding of CNC and automated manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with facility expansions, renovations, capital projects, or advanced manufacturing environments.
• HVAC, electrical, or mechanical trade certification.
• Familiarity with CMMS optimization and maintenance workflow improvements.
