Product Consultant (Retirement Solutions)

Location: Columbus, Ohio, United States; hybrid in-office schedule required two days per week

Salary: $87,000–$162,000 annual national range; expected starting range of $87,000–$131,000

What you will do

• Lead the initiation, development, and maintenance of retirement products across design, profitability, and growth.
• Analyze pricing, design features, underwriting, agency management, product performance, and profitability.
• Identify improvement opportunities, evaluate business opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Provide strategic input on product strategy, profitability objectives, and high-profile initiatives.
• Participate in or lead new business development and implementation projects.
• Analyze competitor and market information and support the development of tools and technology to improve product performance.

Requirements

• Typically eight years of related experience in insurance, financial services, marketing, communications, or a related industry.
• Proficiency with analytic tools, retirement plan pricing, and retirement products.
• Strategic decision-making skills and the ability to navigate ambiguity and understand strategic objectives.
• Ability to lead high-profile projects and communicate ideas effectively in writing, presentations, and verbal discussions.
• Undergraduate degree or graduate studies preferred.

Nice to have

• Insurance licenses or industry designations such as CPCU, ARM, CLU, FLMI, ChFC, CFP, or NASD.
