State Manager, Insurance Product Management

Annual salary: $136,325–$212,175

What you will do

• Manage assigned states to meet profitability targets and support profitable growth.
• Create product strategies and roadmaps covering pricing, products, and underwriting.
• Analyze markets, competitors, opportunities, and threats.
• Lead product initiatives and collaborate with subject-matter experts and company leaders to improve customer experience.
• Manage rate filings through approval and review communications related to rate changes.
• Advocate for hirify.global with regulators and consultants and ensure product changes comply with laws and regulations.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Deep understanding of pricing and product management strategy and tactics.
• Knowledge of insurance regulation, underwriting, insurance operations, data sources, tools, and modeling techniques.
• Experience managing and developing state teams and working with minimal oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree with a relevant academic background.
• Strong analytical, planning, decision-making, leadership, and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in business or a related field.
• FCAS, ACAS, or CPCU designation.
