Area Manager - 2nd Shift

Location: US OH Akron ICM Plt 0993; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Lead day-to-day second-shift manufacturing operations.
• Supervise and develop 25–30 production associates in a unionized environment.
• Monitor performance and ensure production targets, safety requirements, and quality standards are met.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Operations teams.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement operational solutions.
• Promote accountability, engagement, and a strong safety culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or five years of relevant work experience.
• At least one year of relevant work experience; manufacturing or military experience is preferred.
• Ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Working knowledge of safety and quality standards, HR policies, and budget management.
